A Couple More Knitty Hats

I seem to be on a headgear binge lately, especially headbands and ear warmers. Here are two more:

On the left is Foliage, which gave me much trouble at first, and I have cast it on 3 times in worsted-weight Malabrigo and frogged them all. This Lamb's Pride Bulky was perfect on size 10's, and I was able to whip that hat up in a little over one evening.

On the right is my slightly crooked Quant, which is my first venture into the world of entrelac, and it is like Crack to me! You see, I can't stop until I've finished the current diamond, and then just look! Some stitches to be picked up...I can't leave it that way, it looks messy! So I do the next diamond, etc. etc. etc. I finally had to just admit I was powerless over the entrelac and sit down and finish the thing so I could get on with my housework.

Here is it's wonky crookedness, close up:

It looks OK when it's actually tied around someone's head, so I have decided to just love it like it is.

Yarn: Noro Kureyon
Needles: Size 8

I am currently making another one of these, in Silk Garden, on size 7's this time, because I felt that my gauge was a little loose and holey, and not all that warm.

Thanks for looking at my show and tell :)

Both of those are absolutely gorgeous!! Foliage is a fun, easy knit, but I have yet to knit Quant.

They look great! I've never tried entrelac, but I've been wanting to; your Quant is inspiring!
