A Great Novel for Summer Reading: "Between, Georgia" by Joshilyn Jackson

In the midst of all the packing and sorting, I needed a way to "get away from it all" this week, so I bought a book. Between, Georgia is the story of Nonny, a woman who is torn between two sides of her (rather odd) southern family. I really enjoyed reading this. The characters seem like real people by the end of the book, and I wanted to know what happened to them next. I loved the accurate portrayal of a southern small town and it's people and their interactions. I enjoyed the story line, it was engaging and drew me in so I wanted to keep reading. It had everything I love in a book: southern women, suspense, humor, and romance.
