"A Girl Named Zippy" by Haven Kimmel

I just finished reading this book, another memoir, which I seem to read a lot of. This memoir is written by a woman who grew up in a rural town in Indiana in the 1970's, and the accounts of some of her childhood memories. It is a charming book because it is certainly written from the child's point of view. It was definitely funny, and sometimes touching, but mostly it reminded me of a time when things were just simpler, and was relaxing to read. Amazingly enough, it's a memoir of a happy childhood.
