Cleaning out and cleaning up

I am, as my coworker Maureen says, "Up to my ears in Alligators." I have SO MUCH TO DO to get this house on the market and get my stuff moved! I am appalled and amazed at how much junk I have. It's as if I've been living with it for so long that I didn't even see it, until I have to go through everything.

In the past 3 days, I have thrown away

• 3 garbage bags full of partially-used, unused, and outdated beauty products (I should look better than I do, with all of the money I've apparently spent on it in the last few years.)
• Half a hamper full of mismatched socks in sizes ranging from Infant to Adult

And I have given away:

• 5 garbage bags full of old linens (I'm keeping 2 good sheet sets per bed, and 2 towels per person.)
• 5-6 of the same bags full of clothes
• One large bag full of socks (that I matched.)
  
• 2 old dressers

And, I still have a ton more junk to go through!!! If I don't turn up for a few days, you'll know I've gotten consumed by the unknown contents of my downstairs coat closet.....
